About Staffordshire Bull Terriers
English Staffordshire Bull Terriers come from England, specifically the Stafford Shire. They were bred to hunt badgers and bear beat. As these sports were outlawed, the English Staffordshire Bull Terrier was adopted as a family pet throughout England.
Over the years the English Staffy or Staffordshire Bull Terrier has become known as the “Nanny Dog” due to its great nature towards children.
